Bands that you saw live

The topic to discuss gigs =D

What bands did you see live? And what ones were the best?

I saw Nightwish (+ Indica & Pain) and Sonata Arctica (+ Winterborn & Delain) live, and some local/cover bands at the festival of the village I live

I think Sonata Arctica gig was the most special for me, but Nightwish was just, huge, great, awesome. And Sonata was more, close, special, unique. And ofcourse it helped that I got their signatures and pictures after the show (A)

From the support acts the best were Pain and Delain, I didn't know much about both bands before the gigs, but I think they did a great job. Winterborn was a bit, ehm.. Cliché, and Indica was too small for big Ahoy

I saw the following bands live:
Nightwish (twice )
Pain (twice, they were NW's support)
Indica (NW support band)
Krieger (NW support band for German tour 2008, they suck..)
and a few local bands I saw on a metal and rock festival here in town (we have this festival every year )

You have a local festival too? We have Donderslag, it's at the end of the summer holiday, but I'm afraid I'm gonna miss it this year. It's a few days after I leave to Finland I think.

But our festival isn't metal/rock, the 1st day is 50's/60's stuff, the 2nd day is a bit more rocky, but still not really hard x'D

Our festival is just one day long.^^
But there are just metal and rock bands (some of them come from our polish and our dutch twin town).

They are still my favourite band and I didn't saw COB live so far..

I seen Tarja live somewhere in October 2008 and I seen Nightwish live somewhere in April 2009.

It's a fair, and there are some bands playing (Don't know wich ones, tho, but I know last year Tarja played, and Rapalje)

And you can LARP there =D And you can buy stuff I might be going there as a 'b-day parteh'

I wanna go to some big gigs, not interested in festivals much cuz there are hardly any bands I know... Usually xD

I don't care x'D I think it'll be shitloads of fun there with some friends =D

Ahh.. Any AC/DC fans in here? I saw a coverband of them, they were great =D

Metallica, AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Deep Purple. The 4 legends as I call them. But I like neither of them, sorry

I'm not a big fan either But it was just a great preformance of "ACtion in DC"

I've seen Iron Maiden (March 2009) and Metallica (January 2010) live.
